Duluth Senior Expo Marks 8^th Year at DECC October 21th

Duluth MN….The 8th Annual Duluth Senior Expo will be held at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center on Wednesday October 21th from 9AM to 3PM. This annual gathering of over 4000 people from the region will feature exhibitors, live entertainment, keynote speakers, seminars and workshops.

Current aging topics will include latest advances in healthcare, insurance, independent and assisted living to reverse mortgages.  “The Senior Expo is a fun day for people to get out and socialize, shop for products and services and be entertained and educated.” according to Tracy Lundeen, event Producer and President of Lundeen Productions “It’s a full-planned day and a lot of fun for everyone involved. These industry professionals put so much work into their expo presence, the seniors really appreciate and enjoy it. You can tell by the interaction how much the exhibitors enjoy it and benefit from it as well. It’s really a who’s who of everyone offering goods and services to seniors in the region” said Lundeen.

New to this year’s entertainment stage line up is SH-BOOM!   They join live performances by the legendary Chmielewski Funtime Band, the Randy Lee Trio and Jim Armstrong. 

Admission is $6 at the door to the Duluth Senior Expo but seniors will be able to pick up complimentary tickets from exhibitors and sponsors.

Every attendee of the Duluth Senior Expo will receive a complimentary copy of the all new 2010-2011 Northland Senior Resource Guide. This 40+ page color magazine lists information on hundreds of resources available for seniors throughout the upper tri state area as well as including entertaining and informative stories.
